So upon surfing the world wide web today I cam across the word freegan. From stumbling upon this word it gave me the sudden urge to further look into said term. The urge to search was so great it almost felt like a calling form an being from a greater place. But on the other hand back to freegan and freeganism.
So a freegan is someone who is an anti capitalist and hates basically wasting anything that could be used. Things that are being wasted are things like older electronics, clothing and food. Those three items are not the only things that are being wasted.
The ways these people try and combat the waste by digging in trash bins from grocery stores and other vendors of a multitude of other goods. The thing that made me think the most was that people are salvaging food from a dumpster. yes folks I did not studer food. Did you know that grocery stores throw out perfetly good food like produce and freshly made breads and all kinds of things that can be used ? Well when I read that in another person's blog it took me aback. I know that our country is wasteful, But really throwing perfectly good fresh food away like it is a dirty tissue to me frankly pissed me off. To me wasting things like that is just stupid. especially since fresh food is so expensive. The freegan lifestyle is a wonderful way to combat the waste.
The most interesting thing about the freegan lifestyle to me is that these people are not afraid to jump right into a dumpster to get their food. I mean what boldness. There are so many YouTube videos one freeganism and the food that they pull out is fresh organic produce that could be used for so many things. All they have to do is wash it. Can you believe that I mean all they have to do is wash it? But there are people sitting in our own country staving because they cannot afford to feed them selves and their families but there is fresh food in a dumpster for free. Ridiculous they need to stop wasting. Just look at all the stuff these ladies got for free. That could last a while.
Well it is getting late and I just need to express my awesome findings in some outlet. Freganism check it out

Yoga!!!!
The past few days have been wonderful. I have so much free time! It was so nice to be able to relax with all my yogi friends. I also gained more knowlege about yoga, and even shared the gift of yoga with a friend. Lets recap shall we.
First comes thursday, which was moderate vinyassa flow class. It was so amazing to be able to stretch and bend into the many asannas Pam preped for that night's practice. That practice was very calming since I was having a stressful week and needed an outlet for my emotions. It was so nice to see the regular yogis that normally come to class. To tell the truth I missed those guys (since I could not go to yoga for like a month of two.).On the other hand Thursday's practice was just so great and we even had great vibrations with the om chant.
After Thursday comes Saturday. I guess I just jumped straight over Friday. On the other hand though, Saturday was a full on vinyassa class bright and early in the morning. Let me tell you, that practice was intense. I can't say that I have ever sweat so much during a single yoga practice ever. Even though it was one of the hardest practices that I ever did, it was still great. One of the reasons why It was so great was because the studio was full that morning and I had the joy of sharing my love of yoga with a good friend. The only bad thing about my Saturday was that my friend and I got a parking ticket right as we were exiting the studio. You would think the powlice would be understanding when your meter runs out when you are in yoga class. Oh well what are you going to do. The last note about saturday's practice was that since it was such a hard practice the ending pose(corpes pose) was just so relaxing.
Lastly I had Practice today and is was nothing big just a quiet gentile practice with easy postures. It was interesting to see all the new faces. We had a new insturctor today, Wendy. She was really great and created a relaxing environment. My overall practice today was just amazing even though we only did sun salutation sequences and some inverted postures.
Over all practice For the week was relaxing. And it was such a great way to unwind and detox from the stresses of a high school student.

The First Post...
Hello Everyone, and welcome.
This is my first ever blog post. How Exciting! "The Wonderful World of..." is basicly going to be a personal journal of my thoughts on many different topics, mixed with stories about my day. Enough with the blog and now lets talk about me.
Well, I'm just your basic unaverage american high school student. living in a conservative average small town. When I use the word unaverage I don't mean a connotation of insane. I'm just saying that I keep the beat on my own drum. My life is so busy, well busy in my eyes. Between Work and school I am always trying to squeeze my hobbies in; one of which is yoga. Well that was a little bit about me and my new blog. Thanks for reading.
